Celebrating the people, places, and culture of the south.
About Us
The odds of finding a natural pearl in an oyster are 1 in 10,000. The odds of finding a gemstone quality pearl are 1 in a million. At Pearl and Frame we strive to find those 1 in a million works of art.
We seek art that celebrates the people, places, and culture of the south. Our mission is to make southern art accessible, build a community of southern artists and collectors, glorify God’s creation, and support arts in the south. And with every sale we do just that. Each artwork is sourced and supports from a local artist practicing in the south.
We aim to fill your walls with truly unique art that creates a feeling, sets the vibe, and has you staring at the wall.
Our story
Pearl & Frame started with a sleep deprived dad and an empty wall above a record player.
Annie, our daughter, was only a week old. We came home from the hospital and started chasing the needs of a newborn while helping our three year old adjust to his new life as a big brother. In all the chaos I couldn't stop thinking about the space above the record player. It was in the middle of the living room and empty…
We were looking for something unique, something that captured the places we love. We found a few fine art prints shops, we looked at Target, we scoured Instagram but nothing from the south. Most everything was just stuck on instagram.
Hence, Pearl & Frame was born to make southern art accessible, build a community of southern artists and collectors, glorify God’s creation, and support southern artists.
Cheers,
Zach
